161 London Circuit is getting new heating and cooling, and new lifts after that.
Heating and cooling
The building’s old, inefficient heating and cooling is being replaced with a separate system for each floor. Each floor can then be heated and cooled on its own.
I-Mech is doing the work, and it is due to finish in November 2026. Progress updates are posted in the building foyer.
What it means on Level 9
All of Level 9 will be upgraded in one week in October. Expect disruption that week. We’ll give members the dates and arrangements directly before work starts.
Lifts
The building has signed a contract with KONE to replace the lifts. Work is expected to start in early 2028. We’ll post the details, including how lift access will work during the replacement, once they’re confirmed.
