Light Rail and London Circuit East: Where Things Stand

Light rail Stage 2A, from Alinga Street to Commonwealth Park, is under construction. The tracks run along London Circuit West. London Circuit East, between Northbourne Avenue and Theatre Lane, is closed to traffic while services under the road are moved and the streetscape is rebuilt.

161 London Circuit, opposite the Canberra Museum and Gallery, is just outside the closed stretch. The road in front of the building is open, but the works are close by.

Now

Lane closures on London Circuit between Baileys Arcade and Ainslie Place, which started on 13 July, run until about mid-October. Crews are laying new kerbs, footpaths and stormwater drains, ready for London Circuit East to reopen.
