These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Canberra Office website and coworking services operated by Canberra Office Pty Ltd (ABN 69 663 354 452). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Membership and Access

Membership plans — including Hot Desks, Dedicated Desks, and Private Offices — are subject to availability and the specific terms of your membership agreement. All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated.

Hot Desk access is available during staffed hours (Monday–Friday 8 AM – 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM).
Dedicated Desk and Private Office members receive 24/7 swipe card access.
Access to shared facilities (kitchen, meeting rooms, end-of-trip) is included with all memberships.

Acceptable Use

When using Canberra Office facilities, you agree to:

Treat all members, staff, and visitors with courtesy and respect
Keep shared spaces clean and tidy
Not engage in any illegal, disruptive, or harmful activities
Not use the space for activities that may disturb other members
Comply with all building rules and emergency procedures
Maintain the security of the premises by not sharing access credentials

Payment and Billing

Membership fees are billed in advance according to the billing cycle agreed in your membership agreement (weekly, monthly, or as otherwise specified). Late payments may result in suspension of access until the account is brought up to date.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms depend on your membership type. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Hot Desk (casual): No commitment — cancel any time before the next billing cycle.
Dedicated Desk: 30 days' written notice required.
Private Office: Notice period as specified in your licence agreement.

Limitation of Liability

Canberra Office provides workspace, facilities, and services on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property brought into the premises.
We are not liable for interruptions to services including internet, power, or building access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our services is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding three months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Canberra Office website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Canberra Office Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Website Use

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes. While we strive to keep it accurate and current, we do not warrant the completeness or reliability of any information. Pricing, availability, and services are subject to change without notice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the ACT.
